  "It's just 700"

survey on sexual misconduct in the Canadian Armed Forces

About the survey

The CAF is using Statistic Canada to conduct a survey that will collect information about: the prevalence and nature of inappropriate sexual behaviour within the military, the reporting of inappropriate sexual behaviour to authorities and military member’s perception of the CAF’s response to this issue.

Who can fill the survey?

Is it confidential?

Only Canadian Armed Forces members in the Canadian Armed Forces can fill the survey. This means reservists and recruits too. No civilians working for the CAF or former members of the CAF.
According to the DND, your personal info will be kept confidential, but the results will be shared to improve the services offered to its members. Read an independent article about the subject.

What is the deadline?

Who is doing the survey?

Where can I learn more?

You should already have received an email at home from Statistic Canada with an access code. You have between April 11 and May 13, 2016 to fill the survey.
Statistics Canada is conducting the survey and is collecting the results on behalf of the Canadian Armed Forces to ensure more transparency and distance themselves for the data collection.
Survey on Sexual Misconduct in the Canadian Armed Forces (SSM)

why should I participate?

Do it for all of us who can`t. Do it so that the voices of the ex-military released after living through a military sexual trauma cannot be heard. Your contribution matters to make up for all victims who are denied the right to fill that survey.
